A wedding saree is not a shirt. These five finishing services are done by hand, on a pad, at a temperature and moisture level chosen for that specific fabric — never a one-size setting applied to a Banarasi and a cotton georgette alike.

Rolled from the border in, folded flat and banded so it lies perfectly flat in a saree box, a suitcase or an almirah shelf. This is the finish most owners ask for — it keeps zari flat, stops the roll from loosening, and makes a heavy silk look expensive at the first fold.

A finishing treatment for sarees whose fabric and zari can safely take it — improving the surface and the fall of the material. Eligibility is decided after we have seen the saree, because polishing is the wrong treatment for some fabrics and some zari work.

Protective muslin or acid-free covers, careful folding and boxing for silk, designer and occasion sarees you are putting away for a season — or packing for travel. The point is that the saree comes back out of storage looking the way it went in.

Yes. Silk sarees, banarasi, georgette, woollen coats, shawls, lehengas and heavy embellished outfits are all handled. Each fabric is checked first and we set a cooler temperature and a protective pad for delicate or beaded work, so embellishment is never pressed directly.
